Italy CV cases and statistics by region

Came across this Government link this evening that may assist you in making decisions on traveling to Italy. It’s being updated daily. Italy has done over 25,000 tests and the great majority of cases are still in Lombardy, Emilia Romano, and Veneto.

Everything here in Verbania on the west side of Lago Maggiore is normal. There are two cases in our Provence of Verbano, but not sure exactly what towns.

Update at 18.00

At Civil Protection Department Headquarters, the Operational Committee
keeps working to ensure the coordination of all operations by the
components and operational structures of the National Civil Protection
Service. As per health monitoring activities related to the spread of
Coronavirus across national territory, at present 2,263 people have
tested positive. To date, the total number of assessed cases in Italy
is 2,502.

In detail: there are currently 1,326 positive cases in Lombardy, 398
in Emilia-Romagna, 297 in Veneto, 56 in Piedmont, 59 in the Marche, 30
in Campania, 19 in Liguria, 18 in Tuscany, 11 in Lazio, 13 in Friuli
Venezia Giulia, 5 in Sicily, 6 in Puglia and 6 in Abruzzo, 4 in the
autonomous Province of Trento, 3 in Molise, 8 in Umbria, 1 in the
autonomous Province of Bolzano, 1 in Calabria, 1 in Sardinia and 1 in
Basilicata.

160 patients have recovered. 79 died, however, this number can be
confirmed only upon certification of cause of death by the Istituto
Superiore di Sanità.
