Hi I have a 3 days open to relax between Venice and Rome, what are your suggestions
Many thanks
Helene
Padua (Padova) or Florence. Both great cities with lots to offer.
Lots of possibilities. What do you enjoy doing, how will you be traveling (car or public transport) and at what time of year?
"Relax" can also mean different things to different people. :O)
Another question to help with appropriate answers: what time of year?
Sorry, I should have mentioned that we’re leaving Rome for Di Pienza for 3 days, then Florence 3 days, Cinq Terre, Como Lake, Venice and then we have 3 days before going back to Rome,
We like vineyard, olive oil tasting, we like walking.
Thanks Helene
We’ll be there in June
We’ll have a car
You don't mention how many days you are allowing for all those other destinations- just wonder if adding a night or 2 here and there is warranted.
A car will be nothing more than an expensive headache in Florence, CT, Venice- are you sure you want to deal with that?
Have your IDP? Know all about ZTLs, speed cameras, parking etc or expect to find surprises in your mailbox in the future.
Maybe look somewhere in Umbria- Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Todi, etc
Christine’s suggestion of Umbria is great! I would pick Spello or Assisi.

Putting a ! on Christine's advice above. No, you don't want or need a car for those 3 locations. You don't need or want one for Rome either, if that was the plan.
Florence, for sure.
