We are taking a river cruise that ends in Lyon, France. We want to spend another seven days in Europe. We were considering the Cinque Terra for three days. Is it a good use of our time to spend another three days in the Tuscany hillside? Does anyone have any other recommendations? We will travel in early May.

Christine, I only suggest that you make yourself aware of the travel times between these destinations. From Lyon to the CT, it's 10hrs and 2-3 train changes. From the CT to Tuscany, it's another 3+ hrs to get to Siena from the CT. Then, where do you need to go from there? Back to France? Rome?
