My husband and I are going to Italy soon and we wondered if anyone has any ideas on a good hotel or B & B or apartment to stay in, we would like to find one in San Gimignano, any thoughts would be great! thanks

You can check out venere.com for hotels, apartments and B&B's. The reviews are written by people who have completed a stay so they are pretty reliable. For apartments you can check more reviews on slowtravel.com. Donna

There is a wonderful b&b right outside of San Gim. It is called IlVicario. We stayed there and had a wonderful time. Great price, good food, wonderful hosts. Fulvio and Katia are wonderful cooks, too. If you stay there, sign up for their cooking lesson. You can check them out on Trip Advisor.

Amy, if you're more specific about the range you'd like to stay within (€80-100, or $100-150) you'd probably get more useable responses. Also, will you be traveling be train only, or by car? If you're traveling by train only, you won't be flooded with great little B&Bs out in the middle of nowhere reachable by car only.
