Booking a italo train from Florence to Rome end of October. Captain train shows 19.80 E each while Ialo website is 9.90E each. Any issue with purchasing directly on their website. I don't see on the website so far how I would get the ticket. I have gone so far as the purchase page. Thanks in advance for your help

OOPS - my error. Captain train was quoting the price for two and I knew that beforehand. Sorry for wasting everyones time.

The prices should be the same on both websites, as you've now discovered. I've purchased Italo tickets both on their website and from Captain Train, and both websites are easy to use. Captain Train also has an app, if that would help.
Be sure to verify which station in Rome will be used for the departure you choose. Some Italo trains terminate at Roma Tiburtina, rather than Termini.

Buying direct from Italo is easy, trivial actually. Pick the level of comfort and flexibility or price you want and off you go. You can print at home or show the QR code on your phone. You can do it all on the Italo app (iPhone).
