Italo Treno , Trenitalia's domestic private competitor, is now selling tickets up to 8 months in advance. They put batches of 3 weeks of new available schedules, so it is not an exact maximum advance rule like DB or Thalys. Yet, it is a good alternative for those who already have locked-in travel plans to Italy and want to pursue the cheapest possible high speed trains to travel there.
