When I book the Italo train reservation & request a "window seat," I assume anything in "blue" in means I'm next to the window and anything in "red" means I'm next to the wall? Just want to make sure!! :)

Yes, I also interpret that the blue line is designating the location of the actual windows with the exterior walls of the train. Various cars are configured differently, if you click on them. The seat closest to the door and large-sized luggage rack sometimes has no window. Additional luggage racks are overhead.
