Hi, I am booking a couple of Smart XL seats on Italo, and I don't see an option to select the specific individual seats that face each other with a table in between. It just randomly assigns me based on if i want a window or aisle seat, and puts the other traveler next to me, rather than across from me. Any tips? Thanks!

It doesn't look like you have that option and the only seats facing each other may be the middle row of each coach. I see text that says, "Choose the seat preference for this passenger. The system will automatically assign seats for the remaining passengers, trying to place them together." You could try "single seats" and see what you get. Four people traveling together would be most likely to be offered the table for four.
