ITALO Account Profile

I've created an account on the ITALO app & website, however, it's not saving some of my data and preferences. It lists my gender, and age (adult vs. senior) incorrectly and doesn't have the capability of listing an address other than Italy. Has anyone had the same experience? Do these details matter when purchasing a ticket? (I'm particularly concerned about the gender as it relates to identification.)

There is no "identification" process on trains. Nobody's going to check your Ticket before boarding.
If gender & age mattered to Italo, they'd make those fields mandatory to register. I can't even find them on the website. Are you on the app?

Thank you, Dario. I originally created an account on the App, but this information is in both the App and website. In the App, it's under Account and then Profile Data. On the website, it's listed under Personal Data. I was attempting to correct my gender and in particular, my date of birth in case it mattered for the Adult vs. Senior ticket. It appears to me that there's no difference anyways between the prices of the two categories. Is that correct?

I was being overly cautious and didn't want any glitches later on. You're suggesting though, that this information doesn't matter and to buy tickets without entering this information?

PS. I really don't want Italo to know my address, but the information above doesn't save without an address.
