They tack a small fee on to ticket orders, and the travel benefit looks to simply eliminate that fee when you buy train tickets from them. But you can get tickets commission free direct from Trenitalia, or from other agencies like www.trainline.eu. The other benefits appear to be 10% to 15% discounts for various hotels, tours and such. I have no opinion whether or not it is a good value.
