I’m absolute sure it will be.
I’ve been buying SIM cards at Vodafone and Tim stores in Italy every year when I am there, and am always able to easily buy one.
This year I’ll be getting one in Rome.
My phone doesn’t support e-sims…I always need a tourist simcard.
Look for Vodafone shop locations on a Google map of Naples, and you will find lots of them.
If not, Tim SIM cards also work well.
Don’t buy them at the airport, but wait to find a bigger shop in Naples itself.
Easier then to go back to that shop if you have any issues with it.

Thank you 'S J" and 'miuccia' for you advice. I have already identified several Vodaphone stores within walking distance of my future Naples accommodation but they do not seem to answer their posted phone numbers. Even if they do pick up, I am not sure how successful I will be since my Italian is so poor; some will say non-existent. I am awaiting return of my emails to these stores that may answer my question. I have read a number of Vodaphone Naples store reviews in which the tourist reported that the store claimed not to have any physical Tourist SIM card. Therefore I want to save some 'walking around town' time by narrowing down the most promising store. ciao & grazie

When will you be in Naples?
I’ll be there for two nights at the very end of September, staying near the main train station before traveling on south.
If you’re going later than that, I’m happy to ask in a couple of the stores for you and let you know.

Hi, I'd like to piggyback this question as I'm about to go to Napoli and am planning on getting a SIM too. Is that Vodafone one really the best option? For example in the UK, most supermarkets have cheaper cards by the checkout.

Thank you all for you further advice & offers of help. Guess I need to include a bit more info as to why I choose this particular SIM card plan. I will arrive in Naples at the beginning of SEPT and spend 1/2 my time there then the 2nd 1/2 in Lisbon (together less than 30 days). Would like to use just one SIM card for both locations (so need that EU roaming is included), I found info (ad images) online for two physical tourist SIM cards that will work for me. One is from Vodaphone and the other from WindTre. Only WindTre shows their ad on their official website. Vodaphone does not show any ads for tourist SIM cards on any of their official websites.
Vodaphone's SIM is named : Vodafone Travellers
WindTre's SIM is named: Tourist Pass
I've had good experience with WindTre Sicily in the past, but it seems that WindTre has very little presence in Portugal so I thought I would try Vodaphone this time for both Italy & Naples. I do have a list of Naples Vodaphone stores in the near vicinity of Napoli Centrale train station & will try to contact them again. ciao & grazie

Just a note that it isn't necessary to look for "tourist" plans; any non-contract prepaid plan will work.

Just buy a no contract sim card. I use vodafone sim cards exclusively now. My Italian sim also worked perfectly for roaming in Switzerland and Slovenia .
5 g data in both countries...no charge for roaming in EU by EU regulations.
Buy at the first Vodafone store you encounter but not at the airport.
