Italian Train Tickets

We will be traveling between Rome, Siena and Florence via train in July. We already know our travel dates. When would be the best time to purchase our tickets? Thanks!

You can purchase tickets up to 120 days ahead of time and take advantage of the savings. Be aware that super economy tickets allow no changes or refunds and economy tickets only allow a change of ticket before the actual time of departure with a fee.

I'm not sure if the mid-June to December 2015 dates are all loaded yet, if you get "no results" keep checking, and check the name of the station you enter. You can print the tickets at home (8.5x11 is fine), they will be emailed to you.

The train between Florence and Siena is Regionale and cannot be looked at or bought (but you don't want to because the price is the same as in the station and there are more restrictions on the online ones) more than 7 days prior to travel.

Get Regionale and Regionale Veloce tickets from a machine in Italy.
