Italian Language School in Siena: Saena Iulia

Has anyone attended Saena Iulia Italian language school in Siena?

I am considering 5 weeks of Italian language classes with the optional home-stay with a local family. This school is my choice for the small class size (maximum of 6 students), immersion experience including family stay and extra activities included and offered.

My Italian language skills are minimal. I have attended one session of language training in my local area, but was not a dedicated student. I have more time to study now that I am retired.
I've been to Italy on 2 RS tours with time before and after on my own.

Thanks for your responses.

Hi, Becky. Did you ever go to Saena Iulia? I am considering taking a week or two of classes there next November. (It gets good reviews online.)

Hi

I attended language school at Saena Iulia in 2009 and it was excellent. They offer all levels of Italian, from beginner to advanced. I was very much a beginning student when I went. They have classes in the mornings until early afternoon, and then offer afternoon activities (some free, some paid). Plus Siena is such a wonderful city in which to spend a few weeks. I hope you go!

I also attended the Lucca Italian School in Lucca for two weeks in 2014 and it too was excellent.
