Leave for Venice Day 11 Ride a Gondola (tour), visit St Mark's Basillica, Accademia and go up Campanile Day 12 Peggy Guggenheim, Jewish Ghetto, Correr Museum, Doge's Palace Day 13 Visit Dorsudora and whatever we missed/were too tired to see Leave for Florence (Firenze) Day 14 Visit Accademia, Baptistery and Uffizi Gallery, climb the Campanile Day 15 Sunday, Rest Day 16 Duomo Museum, Bargello, Santa Maria Novella Church, Leaning Tower of Pisa Day 17 Travel to Rome; Colosseum, Pantheon, Forums Day 18 Vatican, Borghese Gallery Day 19 Home Any suggestions on the Italy portion of my European trip?

I think your pacing is about right, not too rushed but hitting the highlights. My only comment would be to make sure you do not overlook several of the greatest experiences in Italy, that being food (relaxing interludes at a cafe or restaurant) and mastering the art of wandering, often the gateway to neat little experiences you may remember more than the better known sights.
