We will be in Rome on April 25. How can we get information on what is open/closed on that day? Is the Vatican closed on that day?

The Vatican is a very large place. I can tell you that the Vatican museums will be open on April 25th because they are not in Rome but their own country. Some of the shops and restaurants will close as will the banks but most of the sites will remain open. If you are concerned plan a day trip to Ostia Antica or Pompeii. This will get you out of the city for a break. Donna
