I hope and pray for all the Italian people as they struggle wthis this terrible tragedy. I just wanted to extend my thoughts and not sure where to post this.I called the people we will be staying with in Tuscany and they are ok.

It's very unfortunate. I just hope everyone around the L'Aquila area will be able to recover from the damage caused. And I certainly hope the number of casualties doesn't increase. Keep those in the area in your thoughts and prayers.

My grandmother's parents came to Canada from Abruzzo. The images on the International Herald Tribune's website from this tragedy are so powerful. I join Pat in hoping and praying for the area's residents in the days, weeks, and months ahead
