"Italian Days" tour coordinator - anyone used them?

Hi all.
I will be traveling from Naples to Venice July 29-30 (leaving at 1:30pm out of Venice July 31) and am looking to do a food tour, probably in the Bologna area. I've found Italian Days, which offers several tours. Does anyone have any experience with this group?

Their reviews look good... just looking for first-hand experience before I pull the trigger.

Thanks!

I highly recommend the Italian Days Food Experience (http://www.italiandays.it/index.asp) with Alessandro. We did his tour two years ago while staying in Bologna and found it a wonderful and entertaining way to visit food craftsmen in the area. It is well worth the price to be picked up at your hotel and driven from site-to-site, with ample samples at each stop, and a concluding lunch that will leaving you wanting nothing more for dinner that night than a piccolo gelato.

The BEST. Alessandro is totally amazing. The price is totally worth it for the experience.

My son and I did this last October. We did a 4 day Italy vacation in Bologna. One of those was just for the food tour. My son said the food tour was the best part of all of what he experienced in Italy.

They pick you up at your hotel (in beautiful black Mercedes Benz vans) or at the train station at 7AM, and we didn't get back until 4:30PM. You will eat all day, so skip breakfast if you are smart.

The cost was 150E each, and we tipped the driver of the van at the end of the day (all of us in the van took put into the hat to tip - about 10E each)

I've never met anyone more enthusiastic about Italian food, and the way it is made than Alessandro. He LOVES what he does, and it shows. You will be entertained and never bored. you will experience something that will stay with you.

If you'd like more details, PM me.
