Italian Busses on Saturdays?

I have noticed FR and FS schedules- I have read FS is for sunday and holidays.
Is saturday considered the same as week days - or is there a special saturday schedule also? Does a FR schedule include Saturday?

Thanks -
Amy

To be sure, we'd need to know which bus schedule website you looked at. In general, the F on Italian bus schedules stands for feriale, which means workdays (Monday-Saturday). The abbreviations you saw might be FR = feriale and FS = festiva (Sundays and holidays). If FR does mean feriale, then those buses would run on Saturday.

Sundays or holidays in Italy, esp. in the country, are not a good time to be relying on buses, abbreviated schedules.
