We are a family of 4 (daughters in their early 20s) traveling to Rome, Florence and Cinque Terre (in that order). We would like to spend our final day in Florence in the countryside; but then need to get to La Spezia by train that night. Is it feasible to get a private driver to/from Florence? What area should we visit for local color considering limited time? Trip is this month! Any tips or ideas are appreciated.

Check out Tours by Roberto. They do custom options into Chianti and will pick up in Florence. Problem might be if they are already fully booked. 😕

You could also look into 'Walks of Italy' Tours - they have one to Siena, Chianti (lunch at a farmhouse), and San Gimignano.
