We have a room booked at The Pleiades Residence at the beach in Sant'Angelo. We will arrive at Ischia Porto August 31. What is the best way to get to our apartment at the Pleiades? I'm finding that taxis are very expensive, I can't find a bus stop near the place we are staying, and a rental car is not allowed in very far. Has anyone been there and provide advice/information? I thought there might be local ferry service to different points in Ischia - wrong!

Taxis are super expensive on Ischia. We took a public bus all around the island (twice) for Euro 2. It stopped near Saint Angelo. I found this on your residence website.
“When you arrive in Ischia Porto, if you drive follow directions to Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno, Forio, Panza, Succhivo-Sant'Angelo. If you want to catch a bus, take bus no. "1" or "CS" and get off at Succhivo or at Sant'Angelo terminal (Cava Grado).”
