Hello all, I want to go to one of these islands the last full day I have in Naples, but the day before I will have been to Pompeii and climbed Vesuvius. Has anyone done that hike/climb/walk and have they been sore the next day? This might influence whether I want to spend a day exploring Capri or relaxing on Ischia. Any advice helps, even switching the day I do Vesuvius/Pompeii would be fine. I will be in Naples at the end of May for 4 nights.
I hired a taxi to tour us around in Capri and Anacapri years ago with wife and friends. Not much walking that way.
It is quite hot at the end of May. Much of Capri is pedestrianized, so a taxi tour can’t show some parts of the island. It’s easy to need to walk 5 miles in a full day on Capri. But it’s quite hilly.
