Hello, as part of trip to Italy this September, we will be spending a few days in Ischia. Our hotel is located relatively close to the port/Castle. Does anyone have thoughts on special sights, beaches or restaurants ? Thank you

Hi Mike, I was there in 2016 and it is lovely in September. We were there end of September, beginning of October. If you are interested in gardens, we accidentally found La Mortella, a gorgeous garden with pools of water, rare plants, trees....just so relaxing. Has a nice cafe and gift store too. It is up the street from the spa, Norumba...or something like that. We used the bus service there and it was a riot. Buses were stuffed with kids, adults, etc. you have to push your way in! I would love to return.
