Ischia in December

Hello, Bongiorno,
I was planning to stay in Naples in early December, but I keep looking at Ischia. Has anyone stayed there in December? Are some spas still open? Do they decorate for Christmas? How often do the ferries run from Naples? Can you still take a hydrofoil at that time? I am arriving and departing at Naples Centrale - how far is that from the port? Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Grazie

Most of your questions (and more) are answered here: https://www.ischiainsider.com/en/t/napoli/ischia

Reduced frequency November-March but ferries still run. Keep in mind weather can always cancel ferries. Hydrofoils are more likely to be cancelled due to weather.
The hydrofoils depart from Molo Beverello:
Taxi: The fixed rate from the train station to the port is around 15 euros. (In Naples always confirm fixed rates with the driver.)
Metro (subway): Take Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at the Municipio stop. The ride takes five minutes and the station has an exit directly for Molo Beverello.
Ferries depart from Calata Porta di Massa:
Taxi: Same as above.
Metro (subway): Take Line 1 and get off at “Università” (first stop from Garibaldi, about 3 minutes). Walk about 10 minutes towards Varco Immacolatella. If you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, we recommend you take a taxi instead of walking.

Hope that helps,

Thanks to all who replied-
As for the weather links, Ive been to Italy many times in December, I know what the weather is like then and I prefer it - not looking to swim just want to see the island. Still wondering about Christmas decorations ….
