Ischia in April?

Hello - I am planning a trip for late April and will be spending the last few days in Sorrento. We already went to Capri for the day last March, and are hoping to explore Ischia this time, but haven't been able to find a whole lot of information. Does anyone have any information on ferry service from Sorrento? The websites I've found are either in Italian or spotty information from years ago. We're planning to hit one of the thermal spring parks as well, and are looking for a recommendation (Poseidon and Negombo seem to be the most well known?). Temperature/season wise, is this a terrible idea? Any information/recommendations would be helpful, thanks!

There is one return crossing a day between Sorrento and Ischia. If you missed the return sailing you can get back to Sorrento by sea via Naples. It is now some years since we visited Ischia so cannot comment on sites etc on the island. http://www.alilauro.it/orari.php?id_tratta=11:12&lingua=english&cartella=orari Weather will be mixed in April. One time when we were in Sorrento in April it became very windy and sea crossings were cancelled. Otherwise usually pleasant sunny days with cool evenings and the occasional torrential downpour. It's just the luck of the draw and who knows what this year will bring! PS - meant to say you will need to check the website nearer the time for up to date info on the Sorrento service. As you will be there after Easter, the traditional time for the start of tourist services, you should be ok but no promises! You could still go to Ischia by sea via Naples but that will of course take longer.
