Ischia hot springs

We are in Italy now and are planning a trip soon to Ischia in about 3 to 4 days. Being from the Northwest, we are used to hot springs being out in nature and often free. So, instead of going to a "spa" in Ischia, we'd like to know where the free and natural hot springs are is it Sant'Angelo or Citara beach? Can anyone enlighten me on this topic? Also, any recommendations on a B&B near those hot springs? and can we get around easily without a car? Mille grazie!

Italy is full of natural spas all over the place. Some are free some are not.
Go to the website below and click on the region. If you click the region of Campania, Ischia will appear there. The ones marked with a blue dot are out in nature and free. The ones out in nature but where you have to pay a fee are marked by a green dot. The spa establishments (such as hotels etc.) are marked by a blue square. The spas that are part of a campground area are marked by a small triangle. I see 13 spa areas in Ischia, 6 are out in the nature (4 free and 2 with a fee), all others are establishments such as the Poseidon, probably the most famous in the island. http://www.francesca.mi.it/n/iterme.html
