Is weather.com accurate for Florence?

Weather.com keeps saying that it's going to continue to be in the very high 70s in Florence next week (October 7), with maybe 30% chance of rain or so. I went on a different weather site and it said lower temperatures, with significantly more rain. What's the most accurate weather site? thanks!!

You might try accuweather.com, I have found weather.com to be less than reliable in Italy some of the time.

Anybody who says they can tell you what the weather will do more than a week out is stretching it, and may be relying on historical data. At this time of the year the seasons change and weather can too, at much shorter notice. Don't believe any forecast for a specific day regarding will it rain or not. Come prepared for both.

My favorite meteorologist says that any forecast further out than 3 days is just marketing. :-)

I never put my trust in a weather report more than two days in advance. Anything beyond that is an educated guess and most of the time is wrong. Donna

Heck, when I was in Rome this past February, all the forecasts at 7 am for that day were wrong! Skipped a trip to Tivoli, because they all - included the local weather station - predicted cloudy and rainy. It ended up being warm and sunny all day.
