Is trentitalia always on time?

I will be travelling from Roma Fiumicino Airport to Florence ( Firenze Santa Maria Novella). In my train ticket, it shows I'll be in Florence at 12:43pm.

I am doing the passepartout 5 day pass and suppose to be at Uffizi gallery for my 1:45pm-2:00pm timed entry

I am just worried that if my train is late by ~45 mins. I may not make it for my timed entry.

But, will they still give my passepartout pass if I am late?

Excuse me for my ignorance but I just need to know of I messed up really bad that I have to buy another passepart out pass.

EDIT:
I just emailed the ticketing office customer support(Bticket) here's what they said:
In case of early or delayed arrival, the ticket you purchased will still be handed over, with no guarantee as to priority of entry.

-If I understand it correctly, I can still get the ticket even If I am late but my entry to Uffizi gallery is not guaranteed.

Trenitalia is not always on time. No railway is.

But timekeeping on the high speed trains is good, although small delays may be possible.

You can use this website http://www.viaggiatreno.it/ to see what the current state of traffic is.

Are you catching the train immediately after landing at FCO? You may want to ask yourself if airlines are always on time, I would be more fearful that my flight was delayed making me miss the train.

I'm thinking the same, Allan. I'd be more worried about the flight being on time.

Also, If that flight to Fiumicino is a transatlantic or other lengthy one - and THEN you have to get to Florence, deal with the luggage and get to the Uffizi - I'd be concerned about being too exhausted to appreciate this very busy museum's priceless collection?

Great point about the plane being delayed too.
I will be coming from from France and will not be checking in any luggages. I will be flying on easyjet too.
This airline seem to have great reviews too.

It is my first time going to Europe. So, I've been just trying to make sure my itinerary will work

...and what is your plan for your luggage, can't haul it through the Uffizi.

I only have a backpack that fits about 4 days of clothes. So mu luggages won't be a problem. I will be stashing my main luggage back in Paris, I will be back in back in Paris after 4 days

Where in France will you be? If you are going from France to Florence, flying to Rome seems like a big detour.

My Trip is won't be the best but here it is:

Paris to Rome (by plane)

Rome to Florence (by train)

Florence to Rome (by train)

Rome to Paris (by plane)

You should be able to check that at the cloakroom at the Uffizi, it will not go in with you.

There are direct flights between Paris and Florence, so you don't need to make an extra stop in Rome.

Yes, that was the biggest mistake. I originally just planned to stay in Rome so I booked a roundtrip flight between Paris and Rome. Then I realized that Rome was close to Florence. That's why I got an extra stop at Rome

I haven't taken this specific flight. But last fall we took a domestic flight within Italy to Rome and for the smaller jets (think 737 size) they may park out on the tarmac instead of at a gate. Then you wait for buses to come to the plane and bring you to the terminal. When all is said and done this can take 30-45 minutes. So I hope you have a decent buffer between the scheduled arrival time and your train trip.

When there are delays there are lots of delays because of problems on the lines. This year my high speed rate is doing ok... only 2 major delays... an hour late from Bologna to Florence and 2 hours late to Milan from Bologna. The rest on time or just about on time. No guarantees. I travel a lot by train and some days the regional are late some days the high speed but most days all are pretty much on time. Torino next week so fingers crossed.
