Is this ok for 8 days in Umbria/tuscany?

Hi
We are travelling in September.
Flying in and out of Pisa, planning to rent a car from there. Does this plan sound ok or too much? Or are we missing anything crucial??
Night 1: stay near Pisa airport as arrive late.
Day 1: pick up car and leisurely drive to montone in Umbria (not sure of where to stop en route yet). Stay there that night
Day 2: explore area around montone
Day 3: drive to pienza and stay one night there
Day 4/5/6: stay in val d’Orcia farm stay, explore nearby towns and countryside
Day 7: drive to voltera and spend night there
Day 8: drive back to Pisa and travel home
We have previously been to Pisa, Florence and Luca so happy to miss them. We are currently trying to decide whether to try and include Siena or give that a miss. We are keen for wine tasting, good food and good views. We like history, walking etc
Please let me know if you think this is too much travelling, or if there’s anywhere we should have on this list?!
Thanks!

Thanks, we thought a night staying more in a town (perhaps montelpuciano would be better for this?) would be nice as we could have some wine and just walk home rather than worrying about driving or getting a taxi etc.
Thanks for tip about volterra - I hadn’t realised the roads were so different to get to that from the other towns etc.
Keen to hear or any other small towns/recommendations you might have! Thanks so much

Montone is one of our very favorite towns! Something that might interest you that is very close to Montone is the Abbey of San Salvatore di Montecorona just outside of Umbertide. The abbey is nice, but under the church, accessible either through a small exterior door or through the main sanctuary (down some stairs), is the Crypt of Santa Maria Della Grazie…just a beautiful little gem. You would have to know it was there to find it.
In Montone, we have had wonderful dinners at L’Antica Osteria di Montone (in the main piazza), as well as Taverna del Verziere. Have a lovely trip!
