I have never planned a European vacation. Is this plan doable? After spending a week visiting Paris, Rouen, and Annecy, we want to stay in Florence for 2 nights and 3 nights in San Gimignano. Between these 2 places, we want to explore Tuscany. Other suggestions? Then, 3 nights in Cinque Terra. On our check out day from CT, we are planning to take a train to Milan for 1 night before we go home the following morning from MXP airport. Thank you for your help.

Go for it. Certainly it's do-able. Suggest you pickup a rental car as you leave Florence and drop it off at La Spezia.

It is possible but you may want to go domevtweeking to amount of days given to the places you list, some more, some less.
