It's a good question. There's only one way to do it, and not many people know the secret, here it is, follow these instructions exactly:go here http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=enin the all these words box, enter helpline martha chicagoin the search within a site box, enter ricksteves.comclick Advanced Search and you should get about 101 hits. But you'll have to go to them one at a time.
If your search for your own posts returns too many results, click on "Date, usage rights, numeric range, and more" under the "search within a site or domain" box. Click on the down arrow at the right of the box next to "Date: (how recent the page is)". Select a range from the drop-down selections, then perform the search. The date box will remain at the top of the results page, and you can choose a different range if you wish.
When you write a new post, you may want to copy/paste it to a permanent document on your computer. It's helpful to keep a permanent document listing your posts, because you'll have them all in one place, can easily add new ones, and can use the control/find function to search for words or phrases in your previous posts. Besides, your post may not stay on the board. If you inadvertently violate a Helpline guideline, the moderator may remove your post.
Obviously, after you do a Google Advanced Search for your previous posts, you can copy/paste your previous posts one at a time to a permanent document. A short-cut would be to copy/paste just the URL for each post, then you'll be able to copy/paste the URL from your document into your browser and call up the thread. I use Notepad for these purposes, so I don't have live hyperlinks in my document.
