Is there a taxi stand at Piazzale Michelangelo?

We'll be driving in from the countryside to spend the day in Florence and it has been recommended to me to park in the Piazza, then take a cab to the Accademia (we have reservations for 9:15 at the Accademia.) Will we have to call cabs (there are nine of us, we'll need three cabs, probobly) or is there a stand where they wait, and will they be waiting at about 8:30? Thanks! Marisa

We were just there around 11am last week and while I don't recall seeing an actual taxi stand, there were about 6 taxis waiting on the left hand side before entering the actual Piazza
