Looking at the bus map/routes it looks like there's no direct bus from these. In order to get to Selva is it necessary to first get a bus to Ortisei and then from there get the 352?

Use the Journey Planner Bolzano to Selva.
I have not been there since the pandemic, but the 350 bus goes through Ortisei to get to Selva in about an hour and half - which is what I recalled from last trip.
