I am trying to purchase train tickets from Vernazza to Rome on 18 June on trenitalia, but keep getting "No Travel Solution". Once I change my date to an earlier one, several options are available. I was successful in purchasing tickets from Milan to La Spiezia on 15 June. I am wondering if the train schedule is not out beyond 15 June?
I would like to take advantage of any cheap fares.
Any ideas?

Hi, Nicole. Correct, schedules are not published past June 14 for regional trains in Italy. You may be able to book ahead for the reserved train from La Spezia to Rome, but not the first leg of the trip, which you can buy there. Look at schedules the week before to get a good estimate of what connection choices are likely to be.

Nicole, Trenitalia refreshes their schedules twice yearly in Mid-June and Mid-December. They are notoriously tardy about refreshing their schedules in time for travelers to buy tickets 120 days in advance. I do see some fast trains and intercity trains 120 days out but for the most part, its April 1 now and you really can't see full schedules beyond June 14 which is about 75 days out. Just keep looking. They will show up.
