Is it worth it to arrive in Como in the evening?

Is it worth it to arrive in Como after 6 p.m.? Or should we stay in Milan and get up early in the morning and make a day trip out of Como.

I would love to visit Varenna and Bellagio. Are there any town with stores or attractions that are still open in Como past 6 p.m.?

If we were to get there in the evening, what do you suggest for us to do in Como in the evening? How late does the Ferry run till? We are considering to buy a ferry pass.

If there is noth8ng in Milan u wish to see head straight for Como. Realize the ferry ride from como to Varenna is quite long. Consider staying in Varenna and get there by train from Milan central train station.
Unless u have a reason for Como town I would choose Varenna and Close by Bellagio.
