I've been seeing ads for the Rome Card and Omnia Vatican card for around $100 euros. Is this the same as Roma Pass? They have the usual skip the line features at the Vatican, museums and the coloseum but what i like was this hop on hop off bus access. Anyone use this or have a better selection?
The Omnia pass is an overpriced pass that is only good for 3 days. There is no possible way to get value out of this pass.
The omnia pass includes a romapass. I would suggest either booking directly with the sites or buying a romapass to use for admission to sites in Rome. The romapass won't cover anything at the Vatican.
The HO/HO buses in Rome are not a good deal. They cannot get you close to most sites because of the pedestrian zones and you're actually better off walking or using the public bus system, which is very good.
If you let us know the sites you want to see we can suggest if the romapass is a good deal for you and how you can book sites on your own and bypass the lines.

Ditto to what Donna said: I can't imagine the Omnia being a good value for anyone at all, and the hohos - besides most of them seeing many negative reviews - only go to select spots and even then can't drop you off right AT some of them. While these sorts of buses can work well in some cities, I don't personally think they're a good choice for Rome.
The Roma Pass is only a good deal if it covers the things you wish to see and If you have time enough to do them: it's a matter of doing the math? Getting around ticket lines can be managed without a pass.
