Is it easy to get to Frascati from Rome with kids?

We are contemplating taking a train to Frascati. It is easy to get around Frascati from train station there? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

I did this a few years ago. I took a train from Termini; I believe the ticket was less than 2 euro. Don't forget to validate it. There is a walk up to the city from the train station, steep, but not very long.

The town is pretty, and easy to walk. Porchetta sandwiches are popular there. I think children would enjoy the trip.

My experience is the same. Train from Termini station takes 30 minutes and runs hourly; buy tickets on the spot. How to Look Up Train Schedules Online gives you the DB train schedule link and tips for using it. The Frascati station is very central, see Google Maps if you don't have another map.
