is day pass better to travel within Milan

We will be staying 3 nights in Milan and plan to do day trip to lake como.

24th may - land in milan(MXP)

25th may - day trip to lake como

26th may - cover milan

27th may - travel to Tirano

We plan to cover Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Sforzesco Castle, Starbucks Reserve Milan , Sempione Park, Da Vinci Museum( time permits)

so we were thinking of getting the pass for 3 days which will cost 35 euro each adult (couldn't fin whats the cost for kids under 6) and that will cover travel in Milan and lake como (trains). on 24th we will not take pass as that is not valid from airport. We think of covering few things in evening as due to jet lag.

Is the pass good?

Your question about the price for children, from the website listed.

PRICE
1 day (€17.50); 2 days (€29.00); 3 days (€35.00); 7 days (€46.50).
The fare is unique and there is no difference based on the age of the traveler (children up to 4 years of age travel for free).

What are the ages of the kids?
A one way to Varenna-Esino is 7.40 EUR, so that is 14.80 EUR r/t. A one way to Tirano is 12.50 EUR. So that comes to 27.30 EUR per adult. Children under 4 are free, and under 12 are half price. Depending on how much you use Milan transit, you can consider if it is for you.
