We are thinking of going to practice on May 19 because general admission is sold out !
Austria is up in the air but we may be in the neighborhood to do the same there.
Best wishes
Nigel
Where did you check for tickets? On the official website are still available. Not so many (and some ones very expensive!), but in several places there are available tickets for Imola.

For GP lovers, don't forget this one:

I used to get excited about this stuff. Barely a glimmer left now. The "officiating" now, more showmanship than sportsmanship has ground me into the dirt.
Why bother when everything is stage managed? I live half an hour from Silverstone. Bother anymore to get tickets? nah. I'd rather go to BTCC, or what passes for DTM these days, or MotoGP. At least they are exciting and genuine.
Alonso parks a few cm off straight and gets a 5 second penalty? No advantage, no loss of tracking. Then another 10 second one? And then, oh no, no 10 second one. What a palaver!!!! Meanwhile both Red Bulls consistently go completely off line completely cutting a corner and nobody says anything?
There is no sense of fairness anymore - not for me anymore. Thanks Liberty.
I had to look up what GP meant. :) I guess I didn't realize it was such a big thing!
I went to the Circuit of Americas two years ago and had a blast just to see it all in person. Regardless of the drama around officiating (agree on the Alonso comment by the way), it's still exciting to see the race live.
@Mardee
Don't worry: not everybody is expert and fanatic about everything!
Emilia-Romagna is a region where there are several racetracks (Imola, Varano, Modena, Misano...), race teams are present here (Ferrari, Minardi, Dallara, Ducati, but even Maserati and Lamborghini in the past, and all the small teams who do GT races!), supercar/bike builders (Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ducati, Dallara....): so is normal that exist even this kind of tourism. Car lovers who come to Emilia-Romagna to watch races or visit museums and factories.
thank you Ricky
58 - always miss him
Emilia Romagna is not a region, it’s a garage.

I agree Nigel. I watched it and just shook my head. I've seen races where cars near the front of the grid have their front wheels in front of the line and nothing was said.
They make a rule that drivers can't wear jewelry while racing. Lewis says he's wearing jewelry. He gets an exception.
Liberty owns the commercial rights to F1. They basically bought out Bernie Ecclestone. The FIA runs the races. They've been having control issues ever since the death of Charlie Whiting in 2019.
@Roberto da Firenze
Emilia-Romagna isn't a garage, it's a big unique huge traffic jam.
Don't blame Liberty, there are plenty of people involved in any F1 decision. There's never any telling which way it will go, and there are always favorites and nationalities at play. That's part of the game, especially now that Drive To Survive was such a huge hit.
When I visit F1 fansites there are usually popup ads for companies that arrange F1 tours, I bet they could get you in if that matters. Too bad you don't wander over to Silverstone if you are that close. But don't worry, they keep threatening to have a race in Londinium itself so you're have more choices :)
