Yes, he is, at least as of December 29, 2017. Good friend and I had a fabulous time on his bar walk, that evening. There were some 14 of us, men and women, young and older, and by the end of the night we were 14 best friends, eating, drinking, schmoozing and loving Venice and everyone around us. I contacted Alessandro a few weeks prior to our arrival in Venice, and he didn't have enough people for a tour that evening, and then about a week prior to the 29th, he emailed me that he had a group and where to meet. He was fairly prompt in his email replies each time that I contacted him. If he doesn't have enough folks for a group, and if you are willing to wait until close to time, the group might just "make" after all.
