Is Accademia vaporetto stop closed or closing?

I was just looking at the visit-venice-italy.com web site, which has excellent vapporetto line maps and time tables, and I saw the following:

Beware: For all the time of the Accademia Bridge renovation, all departures and arrivals are at Campo San Vio (300 meters from the Accademia Station).

We will be staying very close to the Accademia, so this is of interest to me. Does anyone know anything about this? The web page seems relatively up to date since they state the time tables are good through November 1st, 2018.BUt I didn't see anhy menion of it anywhere else when I searched on it.

That makes sense to me, as the Academia vap stop is almost under the bridge. San Vio is about 300 metres east of Academia, further down the Grand Canal, on the same side as Academia.
When you alight form the vap, walk straight ahead. St George’s church is to your left (Eucharist on Sundays at 10:30, visitors most welcome, glass of prosecco served after the service). Take the bridge to your right, go strait ahead and when you hit a tee intersection, you are beside the Academia museum.
You can safely ignore the woman on her knees begging there, that is her regular patch.
Turn right and after twenty metres you will see the Academia bridge.

There is only one bridge to cross between Campo San Vio and Academia.

If you are staying much west of Academia, maybe the Ca’ Rezzonico vap stop would work better, but there two bridges to cross.

As of a few days ago the bridge is still under repair but both stops are open for boat traffic. There is a stop on each side of the bridge, one for traffic going towards the train station and beyond, the other going towards the tail.
If you are staying that close to the bridge it should also be convenient for you to use the stop at Zaitare and pass through.... given that 2 stops there it may be a faster option depending upon where you are coming from or going....several good gelato's in the area....if you get lost you won't starve.

Looking at the map that Sam posted, it could be that only one of the two pontoons at Academia has been moved to San Vio. In that case, it would be the pontoon closest to the Academia bridge, and that pontoon is for vaps travelling up the Grand Canal to P. Roma.
Maybe the downstream pontoon is still in its usual place. So advice to David would to be ready to hop off as the Academia bridge approaches. If the vap does not stop there, hop off at San Vio and hoof it.
