can use the internet access available on the Ipod touch?

There seems to be an increasing number of Hostels and Hotels that are providing Wi-Fi, but at the moment I don't have any specific information. You might want to check the websites of the lodgings you'll be using, as they normally indicate whether they offer Wi-Fi. In some cases, Hotels provide a shared internet computer in the Lobby, for use by Hotel guests. Some Hostels have internet facilities on site.
In my experience, some locations provide free Wi-Fi and others charge a small fee for this. Note that in Italy, users of the internet must be registered, normally using Passport information.
