Can a ipod shuffle 1GB work to download all of Rick Steves' itunes-Italy

Space wise yes, but I find it more difficult to control which item you are listening to than most of the other iPods. I also personally find it a bit more tricky to pause and resume something on a shuffle. That could just be me since I'm more comfortable with my older Nano and my iPhone.
