Traveling International from Miami to Milan, was wonder in you can use you iPhone 7 head phones for watching movies on the plane. Did anyone run into this problem on a international flight?

Do you have the round plug or the lightning connection? The round style has worked fine for me.

iPhone 7 has the Apple specific plug, right? If so then no they won't work. If I'm wrong and they have the standard round plug that you can use on other products like CD players or computers then probably. I have always used my standard headphones on flights and never run into difficulty. I have an iPhone 6 and those headphones are standard and work fine. I have also used them for audio guides in museums.

Some airplane headphone jacks are the double kind Peter referred to; other planes use the single jack found on Android phones and older iPhones. But no plane uses a Lightening connector, which is the kind of jack on the iPhone 7. So, if your headphones have a Lightening jack, you'll need an adapter to use them with the airplane's AV system (I believe this adapter comes with the iPhone 7).

Many airlines give out headphones for free on international flights, including the ones that charge for headphones on domestic flights. If you really need to know the particulars for your flight, contact the actual airline that is operating the flight.

In addition to the Apple headphones, I would also carry a set of phones with a standard 3.5 mm jack. Not only can you use them on the plane but they're great for plugging into audio guides that are rented at museums and tourist sites.
