Iphone App recommendation for translating English into Italian

Looking for a good basic app for my iphone that would translate English into Italian and vice versa. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have Google Translate but the Apple translate app is a great option if you have the latest air pod pros. They are able to handle live translation from Italian to English.

Google Translate has the Word Lens feature - if you hover it over text it translates it for you. And if you want it to interpret (spoken word), you just say, 'Hey Google, turn on interpreter mode' and it will switch to that. Or just select the microphone button and you can talk into it and it will either speak for you or type translated text which the other person can read. It is a bit clunky and you might find that speaking / reading works a little better. But the Word Lens is really good. Google bought up a small company that invented it and incorporated it into their software.

Good luck!

I normally use Google Translate but will use Apple Transate on occasion. I believe the live translation feature uses the Apple version, and that can also be used with AirPods. This provides further details - https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/airpods/dev9c215ca94/web .

I found that it's very helpful to learn a few of the usual polite phrases as well.
