My daughter and I will be staying at a hotel overnight in Lido di Ostia near the airport prior to a flight to Dubrovnik the next day. We arrive at noon and were thinking of taking the train into Rome for the afternoon. We have both been to Rome before and were wondering if anyone could recommend an off the beaten path neighborhood or area we could explore. We want to avoid the main sights due to tourists in July (and we have seen a few times)
