Interrail Queries - Reservations

Hi,

I'm looking to travel around Italy, I've found the correct Interrail pass details but I'm concerned around 'reservations'. Although the website you purchase the card on has limited information a few sites are saying there are additional costs to reserve seats and this has to be done.

Anyone have any information on this, do we have to do this, how do we do this, if we're travelling from Verona - Naples and have to get various trains do we have to pay for reservations on all trains? So confused...!

Since train travel in Italy is relatively cheap, an Interrail pass is rarely worth the money in Italy. Look at trenitalia.com to compare prices. If you buy tickets in advance for the long legs, you can save significantly.
For all things trains, look to the man in seat 61. He also has a guide to rail passes https://www.seat61.com/Railpass-and-Eurail-pass-guide.htm

Thanks, had a look into single visits and it does seem to be around the same price as a Interrail pass but it includes the reservations so that's great advice :)
