I do not understand your question. If you are with T-Mobile you already have an international phone plan.

I'm with T-Mobile with a Magenta 55+ plan. It is $70 for 2 lines w/ autopay. It gives me unlimited texting and calling and slow data in 204 countries. In 11 countries I get fast data. If the OP has a less expensive T-Mobile plan, he won't have all that international roaming without buying a bunch of add-on coverage. And depending on what countries, he may have no roaming, or very slow data, even with Magenta.

So it's a valid question, but more info is needed to answer it:

What T-Mobile plan? What countries? or are you with an MVNO that uses T-Mobile towers but isn't really a T-Mobile plan? Did you mean to say "ON" a burner phone? If so, is your phone unlocked?

oops, sorry Robert, I missed your reply as I was typing. I think receiving calls is free,.. ? For sending calls, you could use something like Google Voice which is free, and make calls when on wifi. If a call is short, you could use Google Voice with the T-Mobile data and watch to see you don't run out of Tmobile data ( I think it's 5 GB./month).

And everyone else on this forum will say to use WhatsApp.

We buy a T-mobile international plan when we are in Europe. There are a lot of different plans some of which include calls to the US and some don't. We just need local calling in Europe and between us, so we don't get those.

Look into ESim plans. Should be less expensive. Airaflo, Nomad, Instabridge for a few names. There are others.
