The Vatican museum offers a discount for students but only with an International Student ID card. With three high schoolers in our group, it would be nice to get this & other student discounts. Do you know how to acquire such a card (or whether their high school ASB card suffices?). Can't find a way to ask the Vatican Museum directly.
Thank you!
I believe the student I.D. is for college students. If you are under 18 they assume you will still be in school. You can email them for clarification at:
Remember, they are 6 hours ahead of us so you won't hear back from them tonight. Make sure to send the ages of your kids to make sure they understand.

When traveling in Europe while our 2 boys were in high school they just showed their student i.d. issued by their high school and received discounts if there were discounts available. Did this most recently last summer while in Venice and Florence.
Donna and Janet,
Thank you so much! That really makes sense, that high schoolers of their age would be assumed to be "students".
And thank you, Donna, for the "help" contact URL. I hadn't been able to find that, so I'm really glad you did.
Many thanks, kind fellow travelers!
