Information regarding a reliable and trustworthy van service

I guess my initial reaction is WOW! This may cost a fortune. I guess next I'd ask, "Why not rent a van?" But I understand some folks do not care to drive in Italy. That said, this won't be cheap... and with the the wide path you're covering, I doubt you'll find one company to do all three legs - but you never know... money talks! I posted a message in the transportation forum about a friend of mine who needed a van service on a much smaller scale. He used Limos.com. I really don't know much about them other than you enter your route(s) and then independent contractors will email you their proposals. My friend got 10+ replies for his single route, researched a few on the web, and then choose one. He said that the prices were ALL across the board. He told me later he was quite happy with his choice. You might try that approach, a leg at a time and see what you get. You do realize this is MANY hours in a van to get from spot to spot. Good thing you'll be able to split this 5 ways... Somehow I'm still liking the train and taxis for this route. Good Luck!

Hi, I had the same problem on how to get a fair price for my family to have a tour of Rome, then go to Ppompaii and Sorrento. Eventually we were considering a wine tasting somewhere in Tuscany. Finally I bumped into a friend from Portland, had he recommend bestlimosinrome.com . Well so we did,and surprise they took credit cards ! We had a great tour with Elizabeth, who spoke a nice english and we had the tours we were expecting. Everything was smooth and pleasant, riding a bran new Mercedes van. We were a group of 7 couples who wanted van service for a week, and Charming Italy had the best price around! We did 5 daily excursions (most of them from 9AM - 6PM) and paid just over 400 Euro per couple. Their price was much less than other companies we found, and our driver Giovanni was safe and courteous driver. We were thrilled with the service.
