Infiorata festivals?

Hi there,
Does anyone have any suggestions or info on how to see one of the infiorata events in Italy this year?

I have read about the festival (people create huge and beautiful designs made out of flower petals in public squares and streets) and would love to see some of these creations. I’ve seen some info on about.com and also on this site, but these have conflicting information about dates. The festival is linked to a religious event – Corpus Domini, which I think falls about 9 weeks after Easter. About.com says that infiorata day for 2010 is June 3 and RS says it happens in Orvieto on June 3, but elsewhere, such as in Genzano di Roma , it seems to fall later. Also, haven't found any other info to confirm that it is happening in Orvieto on June 3. We leave Italy (from Rome) on the morning of June 7 and I’m hoping I’ll be able to catch an infiorata event somewhere during our visit.

I guess I could check with the Italian tourist board – I haven’t done that yet. Any first-hand experience here?

Thx.
Karen

I haven't checked her site to see if she has anything posted on this but go to annesitaly.com. and see if she has anything about this on her site. She lives in Umbria and I know they have one of the these festivals in Spello.
